A little about me
I'm Hashan Ranasinghe, a software engineer driven by curiosity and a desire to understand how things work beneath the surface.
I enjoy turning ideas into practical software, from building backend systems and designing database architectures to experimenting with AI-powered applications and automation. I'm particularly interested in AI agents, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and the engineering principles that make software reliable and scalable.
For me, software engineering is about more than writing code. It's about understanding problems, making thoughtful technical decisions, and continuously improving the way things are built.
This blog is where I document that journey. I share practical tutorials, technical experiments, lessons from real-world challenges, and ideas worth exploring with the hope that they help other developers learn something new, too.
I'm always curious about what I can build next, what I can understand better, and how I can become a better engineer along the way.
